The producer of a television singing competition comes to Mannu’s house and encourages him to participate in the show. She convinces Mannu; he works hard and wins the competition. He becomes a huge success and also buys a new house. But experience with Sri has made him very bitter towards love and life. Then the producer who had encouraged Mannu to participate reveals that she is Sri’s friend and on her request she had encouraged Mannu to take part. Sri had undergone a surgery and has been cured of the cancer. Mannu goes to meet Sri and proposes her.

Sri insults Mannu and throws money on his face. Mannu is very upset and his father consoles him. Sri is also sad and when her father questions her, she reveals to him that she knows about her blood cancer which he had been hiding from her. Sri also tells her father that she too loves Mannu a lot and that’s why she doesn’t want to spoil his life. Determined, Mannu decides to become a singer and prove his worth. But Sri again insults him and he gets discouraged.

Sri is very happy with her expeditions with Mannu. She shares her experiences with her father and suddenly gets acute pain in her head. Mannu’s father, on hearing about his outings with Sri, gets upset and advises him to stay away from her. When Mannu doesn't come to take her around, a worried Sri sends her father to his house. Sri’s father encourages Mannu to meet Sri and know what she feels about him. Mannu goes and professes his love to Sri, but she gets angry and slaps him.

Mannu is a motherless young man. He is very naughty and chases away the neighbor's hens and his father has to hear all the complaints against him. Mannu is a taxi driver, enjoying life and pulling pranks on everyone in his neighborhood. One of the neighbors suggests Mannu’s father to get him married. Mannu loves to sing, but no one takes him seriously. Unfortunately, a young girl meets with an accident with Mannu’s taxi as she crosses the road.

Baju is supposed to call Shreya, Trisha in anger switches off Shreya’s phone when no one is around. Baju calls Trisha and asks her about Shreya, but Trisha lies to him which is overheard by Pele da. He understands his daughter’s anguish and asks her to accept her feelings. She wears a saree, dresses up and goes to see Baju’s rehearsals. She watches Shreya and Baju - comfortable and talking. This reminds her of her responsibility to get Shreya married and before they can see her, she leaves. Baju and Shreya come to Trisha’s house and, along with Pele da, ask her to admit her true feelings. Trisha declares her love for Baju and he too says that he had always loved her.

Trisha takes Shreya to Baju’s terrace, where he is rehearsing for a play with his friends and colleagues. Trisha reaches there and declares that Shreya is Baju’s girlfriend. Baju's director allows him to leave the rehearsal. Trisha forces Baju and Shreya to go on a date. but in the evening, when Shreya comes home and gives a detailed account of her day, Trisha gets upset. She doesn’t understand why suddenly seeing Shreya and Baju getting closer makes her feel miserable.

At the restaurant, innumerable guys come and meet Shreya. But none of them meets Trisha and Shreya’s expectations. Trisha is tensed about finding a suitable groom for Shreya, when a thought strikes her and she proposes marriage to Baju for Shreya. Baju is shocked and refuses. But Trisha forces him to agree as she is convinced that Baju is the best suitable groom for Shreya.

Trisha’s uncle has invited a prospective groom’s family to meet Shreya. The groom’s family arrives and mistakes Trisha to be Shreya. When Trisha gets to know who they really are, she insults them and orders them to leave her house. Somehow, Trisha is taken away to her room and Shreya meets the groom's family. They interrogate Shreya and this enrages Trisha. But Pele da manages to keep her away from the groom and his family. Shreya also gets upset with all the insults; seeing this Trisha takes it upon herself to get Shreya married. Trisha makes Shreya meet various guys in a restaurant.

An old man, who was once a footabll player and was given the name Pele Da, tells his life story to a group of people. Everyone is engrossed and enjoying the stories when suddenly a girl enters the house and everyone get scared and leaves. She is Trisha, Pele da’s only daughter and she hates men. Baju is her best friend and an actor. Trisha is disgusted with her father’s guests at her place and decides to leave home in protest. But her cousin, Shreya comes to stay with her and Trisha drops the idea of leaving home.
