'Ki Ashay Bandhi Khelaghar' is Rupashi Bangla’s popular show which tells the story of Aparajita (Mousumi Ghosh), an orphan brought up by her maternal uncle and aunt. She is forced to marry Sanjoy (Jack), the mentally-retarded elder son of a business tycoon who owns the Chatterjee Group of Industries. Sanjoy has a step mother, Labonya Chatterjee (Sreela Majumdar) and step-brother Ranajoy (Bhaswar Chatterjee). Aparajita and Ranajoy were in love, but Labonya was against their marriage and Ranajoy didn’t want to defy his mother. This left Aparajita with no choice but to give in to the wishes of her maternal uncle.
Labonya has the whole Chatterjee household in her control and no one ever dares to question or challenge her decisions. Labonya has secretly devised plans to make Ranajoy the sole owner of the Chatterjee Empire.
Aparajita, meanwhile, is unable to cope with the stress of a domineering step-mother-in-law, a lost love and a mentally-challenged husband, and attempts suicide. Watch this family drama series to see the fate of Aparajita, Sanjoy and Ranajoy.

Sunil has fainted and fallen down. He is admitted to the hospital. Bijoy asks Anuradha to go to the hospital but she refuses, saying that she has to attend to some important personal work. Bijoy gets angry at her, but goes off. Anuradha calls the unknown caller and requests him to take the money some other time as her father-in-law is not well. But the caller warns her and asks her to come immediately. Apu and Krittika get into an argument.

Insulted, Promod demands the jewellery be checked in front of him, as he doesn’t trust anyone and believes that they would put false allegation on him. A jeweler checks the jewellery and declares them to be artificial. Promod, aghast at the turn of events, curses the Chatterjee house. Apu seeks forgiveness from Promit and Sangeeta, but they insult her and ask her to leave their home. Shattered, Apu reaches Chatterjee house and hearing her uncle curse her in-laws burst into tears.

Apu leaves the home; Labanya sees this and questions Krittika and Alok. She understands their fault, but instead of scolding them, she supports them. Bindu is reluctant in returning the jewellery and money, but Promit, Promod and Sangeeta force her to return everything. Promod comes to Chatterjee house with cash and jewellery. Krittika tells him that they would first get the jewellery checked by a jeweler and see if the jewellery being returned is real or has been changed with artificial ones.

Promit asks Bindu to withdraw all the money given by the Chatterjees from the bank. But Bindu refuses and tries explaining that it was Promit’s fault as he misbehaved in Apu’s in-laws' house. Promod and Sangeeta support Promit and ask Bindu to return everything ever given by the Chatterjees. Meanwhile, Apu overhears Krittika and Alok discussing their tricks played on Promit which led to all the chaos. Shocked and disheartened, Apu threatens Krittika and Alok and also feels guilty for not believing Promit.

The unknown caller asks Anuradha to see the reception party album. Anuradha opens the album and is shocked. Bijoy comes in and wants to see the album, but Anuradha, somehow, makes him leave the room. She takes out some photos from the album and burns them. The unknown caller calls again and says he has more such photos, but he is ready to trade them with money.

Sonjoy makes the bed, changes his clothes and sees Apu’s jewellery lying on the sofa. He picks it up to keep in the cupboard when Apu comes in. He scolds Apu for being careless and then tells her about the household things he has done. Apu asks him the reason behind the change. He explains that he also wants to be useful like others. He also tells Apu that Promit was not at fault. Apu feels guilty and wants to seek forgiveness. Anuradha again gets a call from the unknown person and she gets tensed.

Promit tries to reason with Apu, trying to show her the real faces of Alok and Krittika, but Apu doesn’t listen to him. Promit gets angry and thinks that his sister has changed. He blames Apu of becoming greedy on seeing the wealth of the Chatterjee house. Krittika and Alok are happy that their plan worked. Promit promises to return all the money ever given by the Chattrejees and never to see Apu’s face again. Insulted, Apu also says that she too would forget that she had a brother named Promit.

Sukalyan comes to Apu’s reception party and mistakes Ranajoy as her husband. Krittika sets him straight and Apu introduces Sonjoy. Labanya announces that Apu is a brilliant singer and she would entertain all with her singing. Apu sings and everyone appreciates. A drunken Promit tries to kill Alok while Sunil tries to stop him. Promit pushes Sunil away and he gets hurt. Apu slaps Promit for misbehaving with Sunil.

Krittika and Alok decide to target Promit and Sangeeta. Krittika insults Sangeeta in front of the guests. Alok gets Promit drunk on false pretences. Then, both Krittika and Alok start poking Promit to instigate him and further insult him in front of everyone.

Everyone is happily surprised to see Sanjoy’s changed look. They all appreciate Apu for her hard work. Only Ranajoy feels bad. Sangeeta and Promit, for the first time, meet Sanjoy properly and they all talk like friends. Apu, in order to show Ranajoy his place, asks him how she and Sanjoy are looking together.
